Thieves steal 35,0000 dollars worth of hair from Georgia salon

Employees at a Macon, Ga., salon told police that thieves broke into their business on Friday and stole about $35,000 worth of hair, which is, financially and spatially speaking, a crapload of hair. Witnesses described four men leaving the scene; one of them had dreadlocks, so apparently the crime wasn’t one of need. Are they fencing it? Is there a big black market for hair? Vega Hair Company sells high-quality extensions and weaves, but really, how much hair do you need to steal $35,000 worth of it? That’s, like, a new car’s worth of hair. Plus maybe the leather seat upgrade.
