Col Halt Says UFOs I Saw Were Structured Machines

Gary Heseltine writes, “I wish to announce that for the last 19 months I have been writing a feature length film script in collaboration with Colonel Charles Halt (Ret) based on the events that occurred during the Christmas period 1980 at the United States Air Force twin base complex of RAF BENTWATERS and WOODBRIDGE where he served as the Deputy Base Commander. Our collaboration began in December 2007 after a chance meeting while working on a documentary about those events that have become collectively known as ‘the Rendlesham Forest incident’ and regarded by many as the most important UFO case since the Roswell incident in 1947.

Initially I spent four months reviewing all the known material before approaching the Colonel with a long list of questions about his involvement and his thoughts about what happened to some of the witnesses afterwards. I believe the resultant script contains the most accurate timeline yet produced and Colonel Halt fully endorses its content that is based on his personal involvement in the proceedings, the known events involving other witnesses and on his genuine belief that several of the military witnesses were the victims of psychological manipulation after their respective sightings. The script will leave no-one in doubt as to the merits of those events that occurred over several nights in December 1980.

Colonel Halt states, “I wish to make it perfectly clear that the UFOs I saw were structured machines moving under intelligent control and operating beyond the realm of anything I have ever seen before or since. I believe the objects that I saw at close quarter were extraterrestrial in origin and that the security services of both the United States and England were and have been complicit in trying to subvert the significance of what occurred at Rendlesham by use of well practiced methods of disinformation.

Clear photo, video, or physical proof? Here is a description of the English Roswell. No aliens , no debris. Not really much of Roswell.

Around 3 a.m. on 26 December 1980 an Unidentified Flying Object was reported by a security patrol near the East Gate of RAF Woodbridge. Servicemen initially thought it was a downed aircraft but, upon entering the forest to investigate, they saw many strange lights moving through the trees, as well as a bright light from an unidentified object. Shortly after 4 a.m. local police were called to the scene but reported that the only lights they could see were those from the Orford Ness lighthouse, some miles away on the coast.

Some of the airmen claim to have seen a conical metallic object, suspended in a yellow mist, hovering over a clearing in the trees, with a pulsating blue and red circle of light above. One eyewitness claims to have seen triangular landing gear on the object leaving three impressions in the ground that were visible the next day. The servicemen further claimed that the object seemed to move away from them as they approached, and they followed it out into a field. Some reports claim that local farmyard animals had been behaving in a state of fear and panic, although this was an arable farm and had no animals.

The airmen were allegedly debriefed, threatened and ordered to sign documents that vowed silence; one even claimed to have been forced to sign a document claiming the UFO was a lighthouse. Some reports suggest that they were reportedly ordered to stay quiet, with the warning “bullets are cheap”. Lieutenant Colonel Halt, however, claimed in a 2008 interview for U.S. news channel CNN that to this day he has not been debriefed over the incident.

After daybreak on the morning of 26 December, servicemen returned to the small clearing where the conical object had been seen, and found three small impressions in a triangular pattern, as well as burn marks and broken branches on nearby trees. Plaster casts of the imprints were taken and have been shown in television documentaries. At 10.30 a.m. the local police were called out again, this time to see the impressions on the ground, which they thought could have been made by an animal. – wiki

I also had a close encounter with a UFO on George Air Force Base in Victorville, CA. It was 1986, 4:00 AM on the flightline and runways doing an airfield inspection. I knew each and every light on that airfield and made sure during every inspection that these lights were operational, make repair logs if there were any outages. I was just finishing up the inspection, on Rwy 36 approaching the Sequence Flashing Lights. All was fine up to this point and nothing was unusual. I circled around at the end of the sequence flashing lights and I remember feeling unusual, something was not right but I had no idea why I was feeling this way. I think it was like the feeling of being watched or a dream you were now in the middle of. At any rate I left the blinding area of the sequence flashing lights and back onto the end of runway threshold. I found myself not choosing to take the normal direction back to Base Operations and I was wondering why, traveling slower than usual as I expected something was missed. As I started back down Rwy 36 I observed a very bright white light I first took for a single high beam from a car directed right at me. I thought “why is that car directed at me? The Perimiter Fence was just off the the runway area and there where homes just outside the fence. I slowed up the van as I was focused on this light and decided it wasn’t a high beam at all. I was about to come to a complete stop to look at this light when it rose up about 10 feet and just sat there! A round bright white light, very unusual as it’s light did not disperse into a glare or star like appearance, just perfectly round sphere. I stop the van and got out with the radio in my hand. The object still suspended in air, no noise, no movement and I knew it was a UFO without any doubt, I was very afraid there might be an alien on the ground. As I was about to call the tower on the radio for their visual it left at an incredible rate of speed no jet on this earth could imagine. No noise, justincredible speed following the desert floor, dipping and climbing over knolls. I called the Tower who were very groggy as the runway is closed at night and Radar Control. Neither saw anything, the UFO was already climbing at a 45degree angle just before the mountain range which was 40 miles away, and I watched as this bright white light disappeared into the stars, literally. I was frozen where I stand and felt numb as if in a dream. Then, the fear of an alien on ground had me in motion for the van. I was numb with shock I think? I wrote a 4 page report in the Airfield Log and was so amazed that no one wanted to talk to me about this? UFO on base, on the ground at 4:00 AM and no one cares? It was my opinion that it was no secret we were being visited and ignoring my report would be better than bringing attention to it by responding. Months later I was approached by the Airfield Commander and he told me that the Airfield was going to be “Lights Out” complete darkness on a certain night I can’t remember the date, and I was responsible for ensuring that every light had been turned off by maintenance personnel. Something happened that night and I sure wish I knew what was going on. I know they are going to our bases checking out our capabilities and weaknesses. It is very sobering knowing we are not the elite force on earth. I still remember this event as if it were yesterday, and the very odd feeling that came over me that something was not right before I know of it.
