Fox News' Credibility At 'Record Low': PPP Poll

Fox News’ credibility has fallen 9 percent since three years ago, according to new Public Policy Polling (PPP) results released on Wednesday.

The annual poll asks participants to rate their trust in multiple networks including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, Comedy Central, ABC News, CBS News and NBC News. According to PPP’s press release:

Just like its actual ratings, Fox News has hit a record low in the four years that we’ve been doing this poll. 41% of voters trust it to 46% who do not. To put those numbers into some perspective the first time we did this poll, in 2010, 49% of voters trusted it to 37% who did not.

Just like last year, researchers also found that Fox News is both the least trusted and most trusted network when compared to the other networks in the survey. Thirty-four percent said they trust Fox News the most, while 39 percent said they trust it the least. …

The question should be whether people realise that most news comes from Reuters news agency or Associated Press.

If you listen to or watch the news in England it’s mostly the exact same stories presented in exactly the same way by every single popular television and radio station.

This also sync’s with Sky News and other U.S. channel like CNN or Fox.

The diversity of news broadcasting is incredibly scripted and probably dictated on a daily basis by the editors whom answer to whichever secret society or ‘think tank’ that they may be a member of.

Bottom line; there’s a global agenda and all influential organisations are apparently towing the line.

Funny, I’ve envied the diversity of large news organizations you have in the UK compared to here. Many times I’ve had to turn to a small country thousands of miles away to get the basic facts about an event here in the US.

It seems that everywhere wealth, power and influence concentrates over time.

Is this due to basic biological flaws like selfishness, xenophobia and lack of compassion in our species?

At one time we had laws against any rich minority owning or influencing too many news organizations but the wealth and influence concentrated to the point that this protection was removed, at first secretly, then more openly. People were too stupid and unarmed to demand that our lawmakers continue that sensible policy.

Most, I think, would rather be told what to do by “protective parents” than express and defend an independent position. Fear by most people of not fitting in may come from the fact that we do need each other to survive. We need teamwork and teamwork needs leaders. The result is historical cycles of over organized (and productive) slavery and under organized non productive chaotic independence.

How do we get back in balance?

Forecast: Revolution is coming, again and again.

There’s just so many times that you can say DOOM is upon us – and when it doesn’t happen, people just stop listening. When Obama was elected there was spposed to be riots in the streets. When he was reelected the stock market was going to crash cause investors had to pay more taxes. Now, the government is going to take everyone’s guns away so they can overrun the citizens of the US and turn this into a socialist regime. Our Gov. is set up with checks and balances so that can never happen, people should stop getting so alarmed by every time they watch Fox News.

Almost agree, except that the checks and balances we started with have been compromised to very near the point of doom. When Americans can be jailed indefinitely without trial and assassinated by the government as they can now, where are the checks? Where are the balances? Same question for the supreme court stopping the recount, for the Pentagon misplacing over $1 trillion, for 9/11 not being openly investigated, for Bush using torture, for the preemptive invasion of Iraq, for government spying without probable cause, etc, etc.

We’ve been living in the Gloom phase for a long time.
