‘Cat-girl’ illness baffles doctors

A SIX-YEAR-OLD dubbed “cat-girl” has baffled doctors after thick grey hair started growing uncontrollably all over her body.

Until just a few months ago little Li Xiaoyuan had just a tiny birthmark on her back.

But hair started to grow from the mole — and quickly spread over her entire back and is now starting to grow on her arms and face.

Her dad Li Yan said: “Doctors told us it was just a birthmark even when it started spreading but now it covers half her body.

“None of the other children want to play with her they are calling her cat-girl and are really mean.”

Li’s distraught mum, Li Jiang of Fengkai, southern China, said: “The poor girl – it breaks our hearts to see her suffer like this.”

Surgeon Dr Lou Zhongquan of Zhaoqing City Dermatological Hospital believes the youngster may be suffering from a rare disease that sends normal moles out of control.

He said: “If they were smaller we could use laser treatment but even if we removed these with surgery there is a very strong chance of post surgery haemorrhage.”

  1. Natural girl

Everything seems to baffle doctors these days. Agent Orange, TCDD, can cause Chloracne…black hairs growing in the face or other areas of the body. It’s some type of parasitic infection or chemical infection. Hairy leukiplakia, also grows hairs. Moles are caused by a parstic infection (castor oil applied topically has been known to make them fall off or disappear with repeated treatment. Black strap mollasses is known to reverse gray hair to natural color…also detoxifies the intesines and is used as a laxitive in natuopahtic medicine. Leads me to believe that gray hair is a toxin or infection. Some parasites, also resemble hairs…horse hair worms. There was a stray cat hanging around my house that lived in the swamp…he was almost blind, had like a scabies infection…one evening I noticed he had all this gray hair growing out his mouth like spider webs!!!! Woke me up to the fact, it not normal..parasitic or fungal infection.
